michaeltmurrayuk
Resource Archive Tool There isn't a resource archive tool included with the FM2014 demo or Beta however the Resource Tool from FM2013 works fine for FM2014 so you can carry on using that one if you don't have access to the full game yet. michaeltmurrayuk
How to Download the Resource Archiver Tool You need to download it separately through Steam. It can be found in the Tools section within Steam. To get to it do the following; Open Steam -> Library -> All Games -> Tools -> Football Manager 2014 Resource Archiver. And then Install. The initial run may require to install direct X files.
michaeltmurrayuk
What old graphics can I use in FM2014 Most old graphics from FM2013 should work in FM2014 the only exceptions so far being: - Skins. - 3D kits orignially made for FM2010. michaeltmurrayuk
Football Manager Classic Mode FM14 also includes the Football Manager Classic mode (or FMC for short), from a skinning point of view the only difference seems to be it uses a different skin, and that FMC skins aren't natively supported in Full FM14 mode and normal FM14 skins aren't natively supported in FMC mode. The installing of kits and logos etc... are done in the normal/same way regardless of whether you are playing FM14 or FMC14.
michaeltmurrayuk
Why are my FM2013 Graphics not working in FM2014 First make sure you have installed them in the correct place. If it is a skin you are trying to add make sure it is an FM14 skin and that it is for the correct mode you are playing (FMC or normal mode). If it is graphics you are installing make sure the filename and filepath exactly match the details in the config file - this includes capital and lowercase letters as FM14 seems more strict about this than previous versions. For example: pictures/ads/europe/england/clubs/fulham/ is NOT the same as: pictures/ads/Europe/England/Clubs/Fulham/ And A logo called Man Utd will not work with this config line: <record from="man utd" to="graphics/pictures/club/680/logo"/> the graphic needs to be called man utd. If it's a mod you are installing, it might need to be placed inside a skin, if you are using the default skins then download the base skin and add the file to that skin. michaeltmurrayuk
Why do I have different zoom options than other users. The new Zoom options located on the Preferences -> Interface screen available to you depend on the screen resolutions you monitor supports. For details on how to change your zoom level see this thread: New Instructions on how to Enable Windowed Mode in the FM 14 Pre-Release Beta - PLEASE READ
