conshaldo_bonaldo Posted November 18, 2013 Share Posted November 18, 2013 so ive reinstalled fm, but there isnt a sports interactive folder thats created in my documents. so all i got is what is in the steamapps folder with steam. what do i do to correct this and get all the right folders i need etc? In the preferences in-game there's a section for determining where FM will save this info. Mine is set up to save on an entirely different drive, for example. conshaldo_bonaldo Posted November 18, 2013 Author Share Posted November 18, 2013 Ive sorted it now. before reinstalling i deleted every fm related folder etc to see what happened when i installed the game. no folder was created UNTIL i started up the actual game. this is where it automatically chooses your 'user/my docs/sports interactive' folder etc. for save games, that can be changed on game. I took the game folder, plonked it on my other drive, took the graphics folder which i couldnt get to work and put it in the same so called directory there, and now i dont have to have it on the ssd. I can also now put my rather large cut out faces file on there too, which i was never considering putting on the ssd. also i know i dont have to copy the same kits and badges folder time and again for different iterations of the game if kept in that same directory. which is handy seeing as i go back on old games now and then.
