In FM 13, when I promised a player a new contract, my DoF would automatically start negotiations within the one month promised window. In FM 14, however, this does not happen. My DoF does not take any action. Have I missed some new staff interaction feature, where I need to have a chat with my DoF to offer player X a new contract? Or have I spotted a bug? It would be great if SI either included an option on the contract negotiations page to ask your DoF to handle the negotiations or allowed you to ask your DoF to handle the negotiations after promising a player a new contract.
