When I try to negotiate a contract renewal all of my players ask for ridiculous bonus fees. I'm Man United and most of my first teamers have around €15k-20k appearance fees in their current contracts. However, they're asking for appearance fees starting from €30k and up, on top of increased wages. Valencia for example asked for 38k while Rooney asks for 53k, on top of a wage increase of 185k (and a goal bonus of a whopping 79k)! Now I'm not expecting all of my negotiations to be a walk in the park and me never having to yield, but this is just an insane and unworkable situation. My only choices are either agreeing to contracts that will ultimately ruin the club or lose most of my first team squad. It wasn't this bad on previous FM's. I mean they were always asking for way too high wages at the start, but the appearance fees didn't get so out of hand. Do you guys have the same issue? And if so, how do you deal with it?
