Northernpilgrim
Might be a good job. I bet they don't have Guinness in Russia. Missing out on qualification was definitely not a good thing, though probably deserved. Not sure about Guinness in Russia, it's exported to over 100 countries, but don't know if Russia is one of them.

Northernpilgrim
The draw for the Euro 2020 qualifiers took place in February 2018, handing us a group I expect us to get out of
Northernpilgrim
Scotland should be the strongest team in the group, ranked 6th in the world, compared to Liechtenstein in 107th, Montenegro 75th, Ireland 30th and Switzerland 56th. Northernpilgrim
Interesting seeing the contrasting fortunes of the Scots and the Swiss. Scotland have been steadily rising through the rankings since 2014, and have been 6th for a while now. I haven't studied their results to see what's been going on with them, but am definitely looking forward to meeting them in the qualifiers. It would be lovely to deny them top spot, but it'll be a big ask.

Northernpilgrim
You're guaranteed of 4th with Scotland being in the group. As I said before, the target is second place minimum, with the hope that we can take Scotland out and win the group. If that doesn't get me back in the top 20, nothing will. Northernpilgrim
Second place in this tournament simply isn't good enough. I will be finishing the Euro 2020 Qualifying Campaign, and then wrapping up this save, hopefully with the Euro finals.

Northernpilgrim
As you can see, I have a better win percentage than any permanent manager of Ireland, except Brian Kerr. My match record was better than both Charlton and McCarthy's, but we didn't manage to do it at the World Cup, which is the main reason why our world ranking never reached the top 10. Northernpilgrim
I have now bitten the bullet, and bought FM14, so will be looking to start a new career very shortly. I'm not quite sure what that'll be yet, but hopefully I can come up with some inspiration soon!
