BenSammy
Trying to buy a player, but no transfer option is available.. He's on loan to FCP B from another team, the only option I have is Encourage Agent Ownership..The player in question has even expressed a desire to play for me?? What's this? cris182
If there is no transfer option when a player is out on loan it usually means the loaning club has an agreed fee and therefore first option to sign the player. Check the loan contract
InterWolf
Does anyone know how this works, and what the advantage is? I presume, that if you're a poorer team, in a country that allows 3rd party owenership, you can encourage the agent to buy most of a player, and so you only need to pay for part of him (although you'll obviously not get so much of an asset, you'll get the player in your team)? Kez'
Exactly the above. A lot of the time it can be seen as a cash injection, if you're really struggling then the money you get for a percentage of the player comes in quite handy. Problem is you're likely get less money when it comes to selling the player as you don't own all of him
InterWolf
And which countries allow 3rd party ownership, is it pretty much South America + Portugal?
