Ausie
I've got a question I'd quite like to know everybody's opinion on. When creating a tactic do you set player roles to what role you'd like it to be or what role your player is suggested to play at? Just for example, if your assistant rates your best CM to be strongest at playing as a box to box midfielder but that role doesn't fit into the system you would want and you would rather he played as a ball winning midfielder. Really struggling with the game this year so any help would great.
Cleon
You should choose roles based on what you want from the tactic as a whole and not what the assistant/coaches think is his best.
Torskus77
Those Assistant opinions are sketchy at best, especially in the lower leagues with poor coaches. You can instantly check a players attributes against a role, I suggest doing that rather than listening to your assistant. Also if you are playing with a side that doesn't have much in the way of funds to bring in players, sometimes you will just have to fit a player in to a role for the sake of the system, providing they can play it reasonably well. Your system is the most important thing, you can carry a player or two doing "a job" for you, if your system is solid.
rvd313
Build the system and fit the players into it, unless you have a player who is god-like compared to his team mates, and you want to build a team around him.
