How to set edited teams Media Prediction

I have made a team using the editor, but they are currently predicted 1st in the English Premier League.

What factors do I need to change to make this lower, in FM13 I only needed to lower the reputation of the club but that doesn't seem to work this time.

In addition, it seems like playing with a new team with newly created players is very difficult, possible gelling issues? is there any known way of solving this?

With the two issues combined, being predicted first and struggling in the first season (second season is noticeably easier) leads to getting sacked if not close to first place.
