Creating three tactics from one

I want to create three tactics with similar features without starting each tactic from scratch. In previous versions it was possible to save an existing tactic with a new name and each tactic could then be modified to suit.

Has this feature been changed or am I missing something?

You still can, on the tactics screen you can select to add another 2 tactics above the pitch line-up view by the dropdown arrows

Yeah just add two new tactics and select them from the archives as the original one. They will appear as "Copy of Tactic1" so then just save them as Tactic2 etc and then can start editing them slightly

Thanks for the help but I still don't see an option to save.

The drop down menu shows - Open tactic creator - Set to formation - Archived tactics

I think under the tactic name (it will be something basic like 451 at first) there is a symbol of three horizontal lines underneath each other if you click on that there should be option to save.

Don't see anything like that. On the last version there was a Save option on the drop down menu

On FM14 you have 2 drop down menus. One is next to your tactics name where you can select a different tactic. The second dropdown menu is below the X, with 3 horisontal lines with a arrow to the right, from here you can save the tactic.

Both these dropdown menus are only availble to the selected tactic (the one on the left)

Edit: this is in the full career mode, don't know about the classic mode.

Well it is not particular visible either, and not to say redundant with to drop down menus, but that is how they made it.
