olivermain83
Is anyone experiencing a lot of goals being conceded from near post crosses? I seem to be conceding a lot. I started a new game on FMC to mess around with some tactics and within 15 games i'd conceded 15 goals, maybe half were from crosses from my right wing to the near post. 3 of them were own goals all from near post crosses that my defender slid into his own net or my keeper palmed in. The tactic i'm using is this: I did have both WB's on attack but made one a support but it hasn't made much difference. Team Instructions are just Short Passing and Hassle Opp. I changed the mentality game by game.
llama3
Hassling Opponents ruins your defensive shape as it is an extreme shout - I would stick with a naturally higher line, and a hard working role or 2 - adding hassle as and when a situation demands it. Domus Clamantium
When you are playing 2 defensive midfielders it is not necessary to Hassle Opponents. Unless one of them is Anchor Man, their closing down will already be quite high and the support from you 2 central mids will be plenty.
olivermain83
Thanks for the reply guys. I'll lose the Hassle shout and hopefully that will improve things.
