ftblmanager
I was in the semi final's playing Man city, they won the first leg 1-0, and the second finished 2-1 after normal time, which lead to extra time, stayed the same at the end and full tme whistle went, Man City won, no penalties. I assume on away goals. Now I looked at the rules and it says extra time if scores level after 90 minutes, Penalty if scores still level. Can someone clarify? Does away goals only come into it after extra time?
kris0710
In the Capital One Cup away goals count after 120 minutes, not 90 minutes. Only if both legs ended the same do you then have a penalty shootout.

dafuge
Did you look up the rules in-game? If so, it sounds like they are wrong, despite the game having the correct rules.

aaron1606
Exactly as Kris and jere_d say - the semi final has the away goals rule, but it only applies after extra time, not at full time. The game does specify this on the Rules screen.
