tjblackstar
Say if I were create a young player through the editor with huge potential and then were to increase some of his attributes during a game save with the in game editor, would he still develop or would it mess with his development? Because I increased his work rate significantly ( because he was the laziest player ever) and for some reason, some of his other stats started to fall. Jimbokav1971
For every player there is a "value" of potential points that attributes use up as a player develops. So yes, if you increase a players workrate then you will use a portion of his potential ability. There is a thread knocking around somewhere where someone has listed the attribute types and defined the cost in pa points for each attribute point. eple
Attributes gobble up his current ability. So if you increase his work rate, and did nothing else, basically what happens is that in a short time the game will readjust his other attributes so that they will match his CA. What you could have done was to increase his CA to compensate for the increase in work rate, but know that whatever he gains in work rate is worth CA points that will not gain elsewhere, so it's a balancing act whether you are developing him in the game or with an editor.
