Its been one way traffic. Sheff United have had one chance and scored it.

Their goal was our fault as well. Ferdinand with an awful clearence that went about 5 yards and then Evra didnt track his man when it was played back in.

For us its mainly been a 3-5-2 formation with Ronaldo on the left, Giggs in the centre and Nev playing right wing. We havent created too much but they have 11 men behind the ball at all times.

Great goal from, the ball in from Nev great and the left foot touch and right foot finish great from Rooney.

Nev should have scored when he was clean through and we were denied a blatent penalty when Saha chests it down in the box and the defender just barges straight into the back of him, how it wasnt given nobody knows.

Could have also had another penalty but the replay was very good so i cant tell but Scholes was furious and the Sheff United bloke looked very relieved.

A bit like against Blackburn if it stays like this you expect us to win it in the second half.

pretty mullored them for 45 minutes. evra at fault for the goal. icon_frown.gif

the foul on saha an absolute stoner of a pen. couldn't believe it wasn't given. the scholes one slightly more debatable.

lovely goal from waz off a brilliant nev pass. the first touch just delightful.

geary or gearing or whatever the mongoloid sheffield utd left backs name is - absolute kernt of the highest order. glad he's having a bit of a mare.

we've been ok without being great. a little too focused on going through the middle for mine with both giggs and ronaldo a little guilty of drifting inside too often. a lot of giggs touches aren't coming off today which isn't helping.

carrick has been great. some dangerous defence splitting passes, and i really can't remember him giving away possession once.

come wan a second half avalanche.

utterly dominating that - didn't get pictures until after the goals had gone in, but sheffield united are literally just camping on their 18 yard line and just hoofing it as far as they can. should have had a couple of penners but it seems our players will have to be gunned down or attacked by machetes to win a spotkick these days. ref's just awful in all areas of the pitch.

weird goal to concede. rio should really have just put the ball out and let us reorganise, but we should still have done better - paddy has to take the blame i guess, gillespie's his man. decent header though tbf. our goal was really well-worked, great finish from wayne. only down to kenny/poor finishing and final ball that we're not ahead.

that said, can see this being a horrifically frustrating second half :/

A typical away game then.
