Taz & The Devil
Danny Simpson unknown to who? I remember months ago when we were talking about how Simpson is a better prospect than bardsley and out of the two he had the biggest chance of replacing Nev. And why is he replacing nev, is Wes Brown not good enough to do that job anymore? What a load of crap that article was.
Ryno
That was my thought aswell Taz. Brown is there and can do a job. O'shea is a better full back than CB or Mid so he could also be used. I am for using the youngsters though.
Richie J
danny simpson completely unknown to anyone other than united fans and juni. if the article is aimed at man utd fans, it's **** journalism. if it's aimed at the general footballing public, it's a fair comment. how many of us had heard of lee peltier before he played for liverpool for the first time?
Coldberg
Vidic & Scholes are suspended today which is why I imagine Simpson would play there (Brown at CB). SSn saying Neville & Ferdinand are back today though so it's all good. Off now anyway.

pjburrage
5Live just said only the 3 changes from Wigan - Ferdinand, Heinze, and Carrick in for Evra, Vida, and Scholes. So is Ronaldo starting or not?

Taz & The Devil
Yep Ronnie is playing and its Fletch on the bench not Evra.
Saha
well it'll be something - 1 we can at least guarantee that
ACou2000
a 'decent' lineup that.. O'Shea the annoying one as ever but Fletch not even on the bench? Maybe got a knock? Richardson don't bother coming on pls

As for Fletch, if he's on the bench I can see him coming on for Ronnie once we're safe, I think Fergie planned on resting Ronnie last game and Fletch this, but as they both played half a game last time, I can see them both playing half a game this time to even it out. something less annoying
Richardson on the bench over Evra is just baffling. But then so is picking O'Shea over Fletch.
ACou2000
only 3 left backs in todays team
Taz & The Devil
Fergie must see something nobody else does with O'Shea in midfield because there is no need to leave Fletch out at all.
ACou2000
Fletch should never have gone off last time... put him in the middle and get JOS off the pitch ffs
James M
hahaha really what is fergie playing at? i'm just going to stick my head in the sand and presume fletcher has actually broken his leg, and so can't play
Scatter
ffs. if i were fletch i think i'd move on tbh.
ACou2000
okay in honesty, I'm fairly sure the reason he keeps JOS on such as last week vs Wigan, is the added 'height' factor.. Wigan's best chance by far was getting something from a set piece and i guess Fergie thought JOS was better in that situation than Fletch however this doesnt even get close to balancing out his utter crapness compared to Fletcher in every other area of the game
ACou2000
but yeah today - with Heinze/Silv/Rio/Wes all there to win headers already... there's NO reason to have JOS ahead of Fletcher dfifffb

pjburrage
That's why O'Shea started, he can slot back into the right back position, and Fletcher can go into centre midfield.

Mika
Nah we were always going to beat Wigan, I was there. But I have a lot less confidence about this game, have had all week. Especially without Scholes.
