josev Posted May 15, 2014 Share Posted May 15, 2014 I'm really frustrated by it. When he should stay in the box to be available for a cross, he just comes short to receive the throw-in. I've tried manually setting him to "Forward" or "Near post" and other three players to "Come short" instead, but he still does it. josev Posted May 16, 2014 Author Share Posted May 16, 2014 i use mixed (by default) throws and my striker is set to attack far post for corners. i play 4-1-2-2-1 with the roles of my front three varying, but usually they are if (a), cf (s) and w (s). this problem doesn't seem to appear as often in my 4-2-3-1 for instance Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

josev Posted May 19, 2014 Author Share Posted May 19, 2014 i've tried it now, but still no luck. also, the other player who's been told to come short instead of him goes into the box! this is so silly, why would he come short anyway? it ruins my play really often. maybe i should upload my tactic somewhere so someone could test it and see if they encounter the same issue?
