i may update on twitter from time to time, but only for my "full" FM attempts. My account is JohnDaManFM, although it isnt required if you want just the seasonal recaps

I used to post every single goal I scored on Twitter. It's quite easy to do and then you can just drop the tweet directly in here by copying the URL. It comes out looking like this and is really easy. You will also probably get a few followers too. Just remember to use the #GoalScoringKeepers hashtag and also #FM24

This is more off-topic, but who's everyones best Goal-Scoring GK?

It’s been a few years since I actually set up my free kicks or penalties with a GK as the taker so I can’t really remember any names. But what I can say is it’s pretty amazing how much more it makes you like the GK in question. This guy, Kanck, is probably my favourite player so far on any save I’ve had on FM24. It’s weird how it builds this affinity.

I've had a few high-scoring GK's over the years. I've been meaning to go back and check my old threads and compile a list so this is as good an excuse as any.

FM13 McIlmurray scored 111 career goals for Mosside in either Ireland or N.Ireland.
FM14 Lúcio scored 178 career goals for San Marino in Italy.
FM15 I didn't play FM15 so nothing at all here.
FM16 My main save was Partizan in Serbia, but for some reason I didn't score goals with my GK in this save. Can't remember why now.
FM17 Ben Oli scored 59 career goals for someone in Iceland.
FM19 Matrevics scored a hat-trick for Barnet in England.
FM19 Lesec scored 89 career goals for Aviron Bayonnais in France, (Basque only).
FM19 Bouchez scored 70 goals for Aviron Bayonnais in France, (Basque only).
FM20 Mofokeng scored a hat-trick in a shared save in South Africa.
FM20 Sillanpää scored 54+ goals in Sweden for... Someone.
FM20 Lee Ward scored 87+ goals for Irchester Utd in England (L10 save).
FM20 Pavjot score 100+ career goals for someone.
FM21 Campbell scored 100+ career goals with Lincoln Red Imps in Gibraltar.
FM21 Chadwick scored a hat-trick for Lincoln Red Imps in Gibraltar.
FM21 Malinen-Repo scored 4 goals in a game for AC Oulu in Finland.
FM22 Ako scored 348 career goals for Belenenses in Portugal.
FM22 Simões scored 167 career goals for Belenenses in Portugal.
FM22 Valente scored 100 career goals for Belenenses in Portugal.
FM23 Leandro 24 career goals for someone, somewhere.
FM23 Kadriu scored 30 goals in 1 season and at least 197 career goals for Feronikeli in Kosovo.
FM23 Camara2 scored 83 career goals for Ceuta in Spain(Africa). I should also point out that he once missed 9 penalties in a single season.
FM23 Camara scored 34 career goals for Ceuta in Spain(Africa).
FM23 Bakayoko scored 32 career goals for Ceuta in Spain(Africa).
FM24 Christie scored 54 goals for Tullibody in Scotland.
FM24 Ogilvie scored 48 goals for Tullibody in Scotland.

There is no way that's all of them, but it's all of them that I can find accurate info on.

That little lot above comes to 1,948 goals scored by GK's in my saves.  It's been much more than that though.

You know I don't recognise some of the names on that list even though they played for me!

When you've had so many GK's score 100+ career goals it become less of an accomplishment, (but shouldn't).

In my current save I've had pens taken by 12 different GK's, but nobody has managed to get to 50 career goals yet, (although current GK is on 49 and not going anywhere anytime soon so fingers crossed).

(23) Brass (Bal) 6'2" is 5/8 from the spot at 63%. (Is no longer at the club).
(23) Ewing (Bal) 6'1" is 17/20 from the spot at 85%. (Is no longer at the club).
(25c) Christie (F.Sport) 6'1" is 46/52 from the spot at 88%. (Is no longer at the club).
(26p) Marsh (CAN)(SCO) 5'10" is 15/17 from the spot at 88%. (Is no longer at the club).
(30a) Ogilvie (Fickle) 6'2" * is 47/64 from the spot at 73%. (Is no longer at the club).
(31k) Lawrie (Unamb) * is 23/29 from the spot at 79%. (Is no longer at the club).
(33a) Black (Fickle) 6'0" * is 2/3 from the spot at 67%. (Is no longer at the club).
(37b) Niven (F.Loyal) 6'4" * is 24/41 from the spot at 59%. (Is no longer at the club).
(39c) Telfer (F.Pro) 6'2" * is 29/44 from the spot at 66%.(Is no longer at the club).
(40e) Qurbonov (UZB) (Res) * is 0/2 from the spot at 0%. (Is no longer at the club).
(43n) Welsh (F.Pro) 6'4" * is 49/61 from the spot at 80%.
(41h) Cairney (Unamb) 6'2" * is 7/12 from the spot at 58%. (Is no longer at the club).

I use IR the whole time, (or 99.99% of the time and it works fine with me).

@leicester33& @jrobertgordon13Great to see you enjoying this challenge. I don't post as often as I used to but I'm still plugging away scoring goals with my GK's.

Feel free to show us what your GK's look like by the way.

These are my current GK's in Scotland, (although only 1 of them has scored a goal).

Last season he scored 10 goals in the league, but 15 goals in all competitions. That's really decent but now I'm no longer rotating my GK's I would hope to get him somewhere up near 20 over the next couple of seasons, (fingers crossed).

Hoskins is now up to 65 Goals. He got injured a lot this season, I’m hoping it doesn’t become a trend…

IMG_8763.png

aaaaaand that's as far as he's going to get. I left Westfield AFC for Fleetwood Town and while I signed Hoskins back he hasn't scored at all yet because he's the second GK rather than the first. I remember him ending off with 68 but I'll keep the official record at 65. Still my best attempt, though.

I managed to get 3 more goals out of him for Fleetwood. That makes his total amount 71.

I’m pretty much just following his career now. Now at 82 but I’m not sure he’ll make it at his current rate. Too many bad seasons, I think.
