Ultimate Stars And Legends Game FM14 (1880's - 2014)

Recommended Posts

I see the great work has continued Fenech, I've been away for like 2 weeks and had convinced myself this would be finalised for some reason lol, on the plus side the longer everyone has to wait the more legends and the better the DB will be!

I search martin palermo on this thread and no result. didnt you create him yet?

Martin is 24 years old at Boca Juniors.

There are over a thousand players created which you will not find on this thread, because I have only done a feature on a small selection of them. If they are not on this thread, the chances are they have still been created.

Everton are only coming in Mid Table but with Dixie Dean and Gary Lineker up front, surely they can do better than that!

He hosts Match of the Day! But Boy could England do with him still playing!

Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club is an English professional football club that represents the city of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands region. The club was founded in 1877 and since 1889 has played at Molineux.

Historically, Wolves have been highly influential, most notably as being founder members of the Football League, as well as having played an instrumental role in the establishment of the European Cup, later to become the UEFA Champions League. Having won the FA Cup twice before the outbreak of the First World War, they developed into one of England's leading clubs under the management of ex-player Stan Cullis after the Second World War, going on to win the league three times and the FA Cup twice more between 1949 and 1960. It was during this time that the European Cup competition was established, after the English press declared Wolves "Champions of the World" following their victories against numerous top European and World sides in some of British football's first live televised games.

Wolves have yet to match the successes of the Stan Cullis era, although, under Bill McGarry, they contested the first-ever UEFA Cup final in 1972 and won the 1974 League Cup, a trophy they lifted again six years later under John Barnwell.

In the all-time table since the league's inception in 1888, Wolves sit in the top four in terms of all-time league position. Cumulatively, they are the ninth most successful club in English domestic football, behind Manchester City, with thirteen major trophy wins!

WELCOME BACK THE WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS!

Chairman: John Brodie

Director: Jack Braynton

Manager: Major Frank Buckley

I will get back you regarding the richest clubs but with the removal of sugar daddies and re-organisation of finances, I suspect the competition is now wide open. Expect the Unexpected!

What we can say is that historically over the last 100 years, Manchester United is the most successful English club. We probably knew this anyway, the surprise and what we might not have known is just how big a sleeping giant Sunderland are, because I can't remember the last time they won anything major and yet they are still the 4th most successful club over the last 100 years.

When you look at the Premiership table on the first page now, what you can see is where historically each club is in terms of overall success in the last 100 years. We can see the 'truth' so to speak as to how BIG each club really is. Not big in terms of money now, and recent success, but big in terms of History and Success in the top English division.

When you look at the table, can you say that you are not surprised at how big some of those clubs actually are in terms of history? Despite the riches of Manchester City, they are still only really a mid table club in terms of history and despite the hype surrounding the Leeds team of the seventies, historically they are still only just a premiership side. They don't have an automatic right to be in the premiership as some would have us believe. It's very interesting when you think about it. Look how massive those north east clubs are. Should they be more successful than they are today? Why have they slipped? They should be doing better, shouldn't they?

Look at Arsenal, now we can see that they are actually the second biggest club in England, it's very close between them and Liverpool, but they are still London's top club, with Chelsea only up to 6th despite all the success they enjoyed in the last decade.

Sounds great Fenech.

It's indeed all about history and that is what only matters only. I am glad to see that there are no sugar daddies in the game and it wont be about domination from a single team.

Can't wait to give it a shot.

Update: In Line with bringing this game ready for release as soon as possible, Portsmouth and Dundee United will be released in a future update.

Next Update: Sporting Lisbon full 25 man squad. This will complete the 25 man squads and then I will focus on getting the game ready and do the remaining bits of work which needs to be done.

Thank you to the whole FM Community for your patience with this. You have all been a massive help and especially those I have mentioned in the OP.

I will be updating further after this is released, I'll be looking at bringing back Portsmouth, Dundee United and Preston North End e.g......

I will announce the official release date in the next couple of days. Cheers.

Excellent news, this should give me one last great save to play until FM15

I stopped playing the current FM a few months back because I got tired.

This database will sure bring me in for a while until the next game will be out.

Indeed! I think this will be like playing a completely different game, I don't think you will recognise it! It will be an experience on a whole new different level to what you have played before. I don't even think I could describe it in words and do it justice.
