Pre Season training help needed

Just a couple of questions about pre season training, what mix of fitness and tactical training do people tend to use and also what intensity would you suggest for pre season training, also to what extent should tactical awareness increase before the start of the season, I will be managing Liverpool but setting up my own tactics and when I have done that before the tactical awareness never seems to build up.

Last question on all this, would it be best to have the match training set to more match training in pre season or set to less match training.
