4-2-3-1 Narrow Version

Recommended Posts

Most of the time I just play with the typical 4-2-3-1 that has the Wingers, but in recent game with Inter ive been seeing the game produce a lot of nice AMCs. And I have the finances built up to afford quite good ones.

What I want to achieve:

- Attacking wise I want to break down defenses using good movement and intricate short passing. Which I think can be achieved with 3 AMCs.

- In defense I want to play quite high up the pitch(with an Offside trap), press my opponents, since this system has 3 AMCs. This will require AMCs with good Work Rate, Stamina and generally good mentals.'

This is how I translated this into FM instructions.

PIs:

Fullbacks: Less Risky Passes - I want them to play simple passes to my AMCs who have more creativity and skill to do the more riskier passes.

AP ans SS: Move Into Channels and Roam from Position

AM: Roam from Position, Run Wide With Ball

F9: Roam from Position

Now my initial ideea is that I might have overdone it with the Roam from Position PI.

Also the striker roles. Im torn between CF(S) , DLF(S) and F9. Which roles will benefit most this kind of system.

What do you guys think?
