iamneallyons
This is my "pièce de résistance" so to speak for FM, its the best tactic iv created and iv created a few in my time! - Pictures speak a thousand words and they speak for themselves iv had great results with this tactic. One thing iv noticed is that this tactic works best WITHOUT any opposition instructions, we impose our own game on the opposition and dont worry about theirs. Pre-Season - Training is set to Very High, Tactics. 50% spent on match training without a rest before or after during pre season. Final week before the season starts - alter training to Fitness Very High. Season Training - Balanced, High. Allow rest AFTER match and 30% spent on match training once the tactic is fluid. Team instructions - Iv set the team instructions to play narrow and to exploit the flanks, because we have have strength through the middle of the park through an attacking diamond shape playing through the middle forces the opposition to defend there creating space down either flank for the wingers. In possession we take our time working the ball into the box through direct play into space, in defence we hassle and hit the opponent on the break surging with 5 attackers. I tried alternating the Regista role and Ball winning midfielder to playing the BWM behind and using a DLP but in my opinion it doesnt work as well your BWM being in the centre cuts out alot of the opposition play and creates counters high up the field or lays it off to one of the AM or the Regista who dictates the play. I havent set up any individual training focus as yet but i think training players in the position they are going to play in the system would be beneficial. Would be happy to see other people use this and see your results. Any feedback would be appreciated to. tony wright
Looks good so far, but I don't think six friendlies and two league games against teams that Liverpool should beat is a proving anything.
sporadicsmiles
The real test will be away to Man Utd. Or any team who has talented wingers/inside forwards and overlapping full-backs. I would not be surprised if you encountered issues conceding goals to counter-attacking teams who can exploit the spaces out wide. Nice start though!
