SideLineBiscuit
Hi just a quick question. In the Champions Cup squad you need to have (I think it is four) a certain number of domestic players trained by your club for four or three years between the ages of 16 to 21 if I remember correctly. But what if you send them out on loan? Will they still count as trained by club or do they actually have to stay in your squad for the whole period of time? Thanks for the help Cheers
louissiscool
I am pretty sure they do not.
metal_guitarist
They have to be registered at the club without interruption (so no half-season/full-season loans) for 2 years if I remember correctly
michaeltmurrayuk
It's 3 years, you can loan the players out however any time spent out on loan won't count towards their club grown time (if they are loaned to the same country it will still count towards the Nation grown time) - so a player can spent two years at your club, one year out on loan and after another year he will count as homegrown as long as he is still young enough, there is a homegrown view on the squad screen that allows you to track their progress towards homegrown status.
