jams1234
Hi, this is my first thread in the handheld forum. During the Summer Holidays, I was considering buying a PSP, but I decided against it. I have FM 07 and FM 08 on xbox 360, but since FM 09 will not be coming out on it, I have decided to buy the PSP to play FM09 on, and a couple of other games. I just wanted to know how different the 360 version to the Handheld version is. Thanks in advance!
LSD
Well, I've never played the 360 so I wouldn't know what it is like but the Handheld game is so easy to pick up and play, which is one of the main things people like about it
Chris Ritchie
The 360 version is very similar to the PC game, whereas the PSP version is more like one of the classic Championship Manager games.
LSD
That is pretty much it there, Chris!
Chris Ritchie
It's also a lot easier to control than the 360 version was. You learn the button layout very quickly.
LSD
Chris, what is your actually standing as an SI employee? I've always wondered...
Chris Ritchie
I'm working for the SI QA team on FMH. It's only a temporary contract, so I'm not really part of SI. I just end up coming on here and talking about it because I'm a fan of the game, first and foremost The SI people you tend to see in here are Glenn and Marc, who code FMH, and Olly, who's in charge of QA on it. LSD
QA being Quality Assurance??
Chris Ritchie
Yes, that's right. Posh way of saying "tester"
LSD
Haha, fair enough. Sounds like a mint job! So, do you test all versions of the game then?
Chris Ritchie
I've only done FMH. I've seen a fair bit of the PC game in action but I'm yet to get my hands on it. It is a really great job, fantastic place to work. It's a pretty long and expensive journey to work for me but it's worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Summer job. LSD
Sweet! Can I just ask quickly... Why was the Xbox version pulled?
Chris Ritchie
Oddly enough, that was one of the first things I asked when I started There's an interview that Miles did yesterday that'll tell you all you need to know about it: http://www.videogamer.com/news/04-09-2008-9215.html
LSD
Thanks Because the interface 'was crap'. World's best excuse! "Why didn't you do your homework, boy?!" "I though it was crap" Haha, nice one Miles

flameboy
A PS3 version would be awesome as the console can use a mouse...or the new keypad can be used as a touch pad for such navigation. also would be awesome to have remote play for PSP.
