Where to Start Learning to Create Tactics?

Please. Go easy on me. I want to learn. I buy this game every year but I'm not a massive football watcher. I'm a rugby fan.

However, I want to learn from basically very little knowledge of building tactics and what everything means. So, I am happy to read whatever needs to be read to get started creating a tactic. So far I've used other peoples tactics but this isn't as fulfilling as creating your own.
