Highest allowed wage wont change after budget adjustment

Hi all,

Not sure if this is a bug - so posting it here first to see if it's user error.

My highest allowed wage for Key and First team players is 7.5K, even if I move the budget slider all the way to the right (lower payroll) or all the way to the left (most amount of payroll). No matter what, the wage salary structure doesn't change at all.

Any ideas?

EDIT: So, I moved it to the right right (lowest payroll) and the Key/First team salary max did change. However, from ~ mid-way through the slider all the way to the left of the slider (most payroll) the Key/First team stays the same at 7.5K. Any ideas why the max amount didn't go up?

I'm having this problem too. If it's not a bug then I guess it's the only amount the board will pay for a player with that squad status.

The board don't want you committing too much money on one player, which is why they wil let you increase the overall budget for the squad, but not pay over the odds for one player. Neither user error or bug, just the way it is I believe!

Yup your chairman probably has a set amount he would allow to be spent on one player (Risk management) So this isn't a bug

Wage budget won't affect your wage structure. Wage structure is set by the board.

I think it depends on different wages rules for leagues, if your close to the maximum wage bill for that particular league, you may be restricted in increasing your wage budget, as if you go over the wage rule there may be a transfer embargo.
