spaced33
At some point during the first season at Man United the percentage of transfer income allocated to the transfer budget is reduced to 10%. This has been quite annoying for me as we received 100M pounds in transfer fees this season with only about 10M being made available. My question is this: Has anybody experienced this figure increasing at some point in the future or am I stuck with only really recovering the wage budget and transferring this to my transfer budget? stevemc
There's also a dodgy loan in there, that shouldn't be there I think. Its been raised in the MUFC Data thread.

Torminator
I dont mind in my safe. I cant get the grasp on my finances though, since i'm seeing losses of about 25 mil per month. Total costs per month are about 35 mil. (10 mil salary ok, 4,5 mil repaymer per month ok... ) but im unsure where the 20 million other costs come from. I'm planning on sorting that out tonight. I think it has to do with all the transfer they made in the first 2 seasons when i wasnt in charge. Monthly transferfees are in the millions. I also get "man utd pays xxx club +/- 3,5 million as part of the transfer of xxxx player" messages every month. They must have really messed up their negotiations haha
brawla123
Once you do a couple seasons it will be fine. I'm in my 4th season with MUFC and the board have given me 100% transfer revenue. As long as you're successful and smart with the money the board will be more lenient, the sponsorships help too.
nangaparbat
Manchester United end up being insanely well off about 5 seasons in. When the loans are done.
oneronaldo
Its always been about toughing out the first few seasons with Manchester United, once the loans are done, oh boy, you gonna be able to buy players like you buy underwear from the supermarket. oneronaldo
That said, the $75m kit deal that kicks in after the first season is a massive help. Boosts the income like crazy and gives you plenty of leeway in the budget if you didn't overspend in the first season.
spaced33
Second season and just got an announcement that the transfer income retained is now up to 40% due to good wage budget management. The sale of Rooney definitely helped with that!
