auduron
Can someone please explain the differences? I Googled and searched the forums but I couldnt really find a definitive answer. I have a regen that has 5 star PA. He has a youth contract that expires 2021, $325 p/w. He is now eligible for a professional contract. If I offer him a contract, the maximum amount of time is until 2021, however he is asking for 1k p/w with a whole bunch of bonuses. Why would I want to offer him a professional contract? I already have him tied down until 2021 on the youth, and I won't have to pay so much... What would the difference be if he was on a profeasional contract vs. his current youth contract? phnompenhandy
Training for one. He's training with the youth squad - your coaching is probably less than the first team squad, and it will be lighter. So to progress fully he needs to be on a full time contract. Cougar2010
I'm not 100% but I think if he is on a youth contract other teams can approach him and offer a pro contract. If he accepts you would then get compensation.
