red dragon1978
The Wrexham squad I recently inherited is so completely off from it's wage structure it would be laughable if it didn't seem to entire prevent me from buying new players: Wage budget: £18,109 PW Current wage total: £19, 737 PW PLAYER TYPE ALLOWED MINIMUM AVERAGE MAXIMUM TOTAL KEY PLAYER £1,100 £750 £1,000 £1,300 £2,024 FIRST TEAM £375 £700 £700 £700 £700 ROTATION £250 £925 £925 £925 £925 BACKUP £200 £80 £550 £1100 £9,331 HOT PROSPECT £240 £100 £200 £300 £1,431 YOUNGSTER £180 £80 £75 £550 £1,242 NOT NEEDED £50 £550 £550 £550 £550 ON LOAN/TRIAL £60 £160 £600 £1,149 Firstly, to me the drop from £1100 for a key to £375 for a first team player seems excessive, but I don't know. What I do know is, in no area of the team have the 'allowed' limits been adhered to, I'm massively overspeding in all areas and I cannot offer credible wages to anyone below Key. Is it possible to adjust the board set limits for each category, because if not I don't know how to sort this out. Thanks....
Bers2011
The backup wage total looks horrific, it looks like basically your entire squad is full of massively overpaid back up as well as hot prospect players. How does selling/changing the squad status of some of these affect you?
red dragon1978
Ignoring the loans, there are 2 key players, 2 first teamers, 1 rotation and 14 backups in my 1st team squad. So selling is a no no cos I can't replace them and they're most of my better players. Changing the status is also hard because, even when the loans go back (some in January, some Feb, some June), I'm close to my wage budget so I can't, for example, raise the squad level from back up to first team as I can't afford the contract. Basically my current plan is to ditch any youth player with a predicted level under 3 stars, any player over 35, and any player who hasn't played 10 games in the season. I'm 1/2 way through, so taking that into consideration and saying anyone who hasn't played 5 games, I save £560 from my U18, £630 from my U21 and £3,075 from my seniors, although it leaves me with no senior keeper. So a saving of £4265 on that basis, leaving me with probably 2 U18, 2-4 U21, and 14 seniors.
