MeMyself2k13
I'm wondering, does anyone here play a long term save with 90-100,000 players loaded? How much does the game slow down in a few years? I'd love to load more leagues, but I'm afraid that my save might become unplayable or start crashing a few seasons down the line. I'm not concerned about the game speed really, but I heard that exceeding recommended number of players can cause problems.
roykela
I'm playing with all leagues loaded with a large database. That gives me approximately 189k players. My recommended player count is 125k players. So far i'm in the year 2022 and the game runs smoothly in general. The only slowdown i experience are the transfer deadline days, entering a new year and a tiny one when the game goes over to a new month. It also took a while to start a new game but when i got started everything went smoothly; and it still does. I haven't had any problems because of this. The problems i've encountered have been related to something different. My specs are. i7-3820 @ 3.66GHz 8 GB RAM 3TB HDD.
LeedsUnitedForLife
im always worried about that as well that it will slow down so much aftater a year or so but i dont think it does a great deal until like 20-30 years
roykela
As i haven't gotten that far into this save i can share my experience with FM14. Did the same there and got to around 2070. It went as smoothly towards the end there as it currently does for me now. It all was flawless. That's not to say that it will be the same this year though, but that's what it was like for me, on the same computer.
