jeff roberts
Hi Guys I need some help. I have created new 3D kits for Ivory Coast but cannot get them to show up in the game. I have tried the following without success: ->Deleted the Cache folder multiple times ->Verified my Cache ->Changed the kits and config to another one that I know works ->Created a new folder, config with only the Ivory Coast kits in it located C:\Users\Jeff\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\graphics\kits\3Dkits ->Ensured kits are named ivory_away.png and ivory_home.png and that team ID is 24 <record> <!-- resource manager options --> <!-- dont preload anything in this folder --> <boolean id="preload" value="false"/> <!-- turn off auto mapping --> <boolean id="amap" value="false"/> <!-- logo mappings --> <!-- the following XML maps pictures inside this folder into other positions in the resource system, which allows this folder to be dropped into any place in the graphics folder and still have the game pick up the graphics files from the correct places --> <list id="maps"> <record from="ivory_away" to="graphics/pictures/team/24/kit_textures/away"/> <record from="ivory_home" to="graphics/pictures/team/24/kit_textures/home"/> </list> </record> Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or can help? FMReporter
Did you make them the same size as originals 512X512 and .png not .PNG Also, rename your 3D kits folder to 3d kits, for some reason capitalising the folder name creates some problems. jeff roberts
Thanks for your reply. Yes they are saved as .png and are 512 x 512. Re-named 3D Kits to 3d kits; no change. I had a theory they may have been using a third kit so I added the third kit to the config but still no change. This appears to be the default kit as when I remove all the kits it still uses the blue/brown kit.
jeff roberts
Eureka!! For some reason my kits had ballooned in size to 1 mb each. Stripped them back and hey presto. It also turns out that it was using a third kit. Thanks FM Reporter for getting me to check the size of the files.
