Whytecliffe
Hi all Can anyone recommend anywhere where I can research decent gaming PC's? I know PC Advisor, but would like more than one opinion before I splash out on a new pc for FM, thanks
Whytecliffe
No other games but want to ensure that I get decent high level 3d performance out of the match engine. I've been let down by PC's before that supposedly could do the job. Not sure on budget,, my last PC was £1100 approx i think
macca72
You can build one for 700-800 that will give you great performance, that's what I did mate. Mine cost just a tad under 700 and I have 5* graphics and play on my TV.Cheers
Whytecliffe
Thanks Macca, unfortunately I'm neither confident, competent or with two little kids around able to build my own.

Smurf
Check out pcspecialist
Hairycull
Ive used pcspecialist before, I highly recommend. You get to pick the parts that you want inside your new rig and can forget about the dross that comes with pre built rigs. So generally save money. Also a great tip with your old pc once the new 1 arrives. Take it apart and see if you can put it back together. If you manage it then no reason your next pc cant be hand built. Its very easy to build a pc.
Rookie FM
http://www.freshtechsolutions.co.uk/custom-built-computers/24-tft-computer-packages/intel-core-i7-4790-gaming-pc-1tb-hdd-16gb-1600mhz-24-tft-galaxy-r.html This seem good price and the only things you added is Windows 7 or 8.1 and Graphics card
Smurf
Savage - doesn't come with an OS though - I'd be inclined to put Ubuntu on it though. It's free. And if it's just for FM and browsing the web it would be perfect.
macca72
Thanks Macca, unfortunately I'm neither confident, competent or with two little kids around able to build my own. Neither was I mate, first time I ever did it, and I've done it once and it was a doddle. Watch a couple of videos on you tube and you're away If you don't fancy it though, I agree with the above, PC Specialist is well worth a look. Jpastore
Brought mine for around £500 i think, got a 5* rating, although probably going to look to upgrade soon had it over a year now but it's still going strong. Basically look for deals on a custom build or deals on individual components, avoid places like PC world.
CarltonBanks
You really should build your own. The difference in specs vs price is very high. It's not difficult at all, it doesn't take very long, and it will save you a TON of money.
