tomthered
Hi all, I'm currently in the process of making a new short-form competition for some friends and I to play in a network game. The idea is that there'll be a reasonably small number of teams (with a lot of money - think cricket's IPL, for example), but also that we'll be able to get through a season reasonably quickly, or at least quicker than we normally would in a 40+ game campaign. What I'm struggling to work out, however, is what a good number of games to play would be. Obviously, I could in theory make a season last 10 games, but that would have an impact on players' development. My question, therefore, is what you think the minimum number of games a team would need to play over the course of a season, in order to give players some meaningful game time? Any ideas? Wolf_pd
Iceland has a 12 team competition for 22 games. Less than 12 is a too short competition I think.
Roy Race 9
you could add cups/ and or play offs based on league position etc as well, so team finishing top plays teams finishing 8th and progress to grand final, this would give you extra games between same teams
