kallemannen
We have all been there... Taking a team to the top, like I just did with Swansea. "overperforming". And the transfer window comes No matter how much team cohesion you train and teamwork. Buying 6-7 new players will just ruin your team and you will have a terrible season.. especially if u combine this with players bought abroad. I like this feature in FM. You have to try to buy max 4 players per window, and its prefered if some are from the same country. Like, I just payed a slight overprice for Joe Allen, 17 million. But hes a Swansea lad so that will work fine. Also I kept Tiendalli as backup fullback, even though it would be terrible fielding him. Is that how we have to think? Cause for me, its impossible to buy more than 4 players. Even if I brought in MEssi and ronaldo and so on, I would have a far worse season than the last with weaker players
brawla123
If you buy 6-7 players every season, it's obvious the squad will take longer to gel. Look at Liverpool this season...
SideLineBiscuit
I never sign any more than 3 first team players as a rule. The best thing is signing young talent and slowly introduce them into the team over the course of several years
