Johnson with A.Boyes as my AF and my Poacher Then when N.Boshell comes back put him back as a Shawdow striker.. My question is that would leave 4 defenders and 1 midfielder, are the wingers any different if they are with the midfielder then if they are with the SS Wingers + SS http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n193/Wild2000/Guiseley%20Tactics/4-1-5_zpsa90467cf.jpg Wingers + Midfielder http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n193/Wild2000/Guiseley%20Tactics/4-3-1-2_zpsc471eebd.jpg
peleJunior
Wingers in the ML/R stratta will offer more defensively as the formation is the defensive shape, you can see that wingers in a deeper position will offer a better defensive structure. I can see a lot of natural gaps being created in those tactics by the way, there is a disconnect between defence and midfield and a disconnect between Attack and midfield. It's to do with your duty allocation.
herne79
Players in the ML/R positions will track back and offer more defensively than players in the AML/R positions. They'll still get forward and help out with attacking play though - personally I would play wingers with an attack duty in the ML/R positions. However, both are pretty scary looking formations and you may want to consider how your midfield is going to offer some screen protection to your defence.
