A Double K Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 This has probably been answered before but the black stars mean that your scouts are uncertain of the potential of the player until they are able to assess the player more, which is to say, they need to scout him some more. Further, if it is for a player that is already your own, it means that he could still have a lot of potential that even your own coaches do not know how good/great the player can become. It takes your staff to continuously follow the player for a season or so to predict the "correct" potential. correct - according to their coaching/scouting abilities.
