The thing is that if you ad together the shirt sales abroad and the amount of money I pay them I get a small loss. I`m ranked as the 10th largest club in Europe, and have signed a japaneese player with continental reputation who brings in a bit of extra shirt sales for me. But foreign affiliates may have a positive influence on your clubs international reputation. This in turn may lead to better sponsor deals and make it easier to attract better players.
