Ajescent
Desperately trying to turn my club into a pro team but they keep declining each time, saying they are too poor. How much is a good amount?
Cougar2010
Somewhere around £1m I think gives you a decent chance.
Ajescent
I had 1.6 but the board said they were still too poor.
forameuss
Don't think there's a set number. Just get more money, they'll turn eventually.
TokyoWanderer
You also have to keep the team in a "pro" division for some time. If you get promoted for the first time into the conference premier, don't expect to turn pro right away (it can happen but usually doesn't).
Ajescent
I'm with a team in gibraltar, we have been #1 in the top division for the last 5 years. It seems Cougar was right because after gaining 1mil again, I went to the board and they simply turned me down because they didn't think I was worthy of it (which totally makes sense /s)
darrylv2
I have just turned my Mons Calpe team professional .. I had 4-5 mill in the bank (had a few lucky champions league games) In last years game you would normally need more then 3 mill in the bank to turn pro in gibraltar
Guest
There is no magic number, for your own sanity it might be worth just playing the game without making too many demands of the board, when they feel the time is right to make structural changes they will do so & that leaves you to just get on with job of improving your squad.
