EnzoAmata
Does anyone feel that when winter comes that their form dips? I find that when November comes in the English devision - I loose form and have to play with a different style to keep things going.
santy001
At least the assistant manager warns you that winter is coming. The weather worsens and pitches deteriorate, add in the fact that over-used players will start to fatigue around that time it does mean its a tough period. If its snowing & windy then in theory a more direct game is likely to work as the pitch is going to be difficult to play a short passing game on. EnzoAmata
If you have strength in depth and a talented squad, then you shouldn't face no problems. As Manchester United in my last season just gone, we had our most amazing season yet. November came and we had one of the toughest months on the calendar with games against Liverpool (4-0 Win), Man City (2-0 Win), Inter Milan (10-0 Win), Liverpool "again" (2-1 Win), Chelsea (1-0 Win) and Besiktas (4-2 Win). Months don't come any more difficult than that and we didn't even look like slowing down. I dream of 10-0 wins - I'm Millwall and when winter comes, it all goes wrong!
