podunkboy
Backerman needs those 15 games...just for the nice round career number. Even though his attributes are sliding south, his game numbers are still fairly high.
Charlesbeams
End of Season 2032/33 Erik Bäckermann - Pretty good season, 33(5) games played, 19 goals and 10 assists. Bayern won the league. Signed a new contract with the club and wants to see out his career with Bayern. Just 2 games away from 1000 total career games. Antoine Clemont - Not a season to remember with 34 games played, 1 goal and 4 assists. Man City could have been relegated, but finished 16th in the league. Contract is running out but he wants to commit his future to the club, so Man City probably aren't offering him one. El Mantis - A fairly good season and most likely his last for PSG. He played 28 games with 7 goals and 5 assists. PSG won the league and were French Cup runners up. Christopher Hatton - A solid season for Hatton with 39(9) games in total, scoring 1 and getting 18 assists. Juventus were Italian Super Cup runners up and won Serie A. Thinking about becoming a manager when he retires. Junior - Good season again from Junior, scoring 4 goals and getting 17 assists in 44 games for Chelsea. Chelsea finished 2nd in the league and were Capital One Cup runners up. Lawrence Lazewski - Still playing well with Spurs, scoring 20 goals in 38(7) games and getting 5 assists. However Spurs only finished in 11th place and were poor elsewhere. Bambang Pinheiro - Not his best season, but still playing well. He got 10 goals and 10 assists in 42(1) games and Man Utd finished in 3rd place, won the Euro Super Cup, Community Shield and were Club World Cup 3rd place. Relegated Players El Ticuito - Not great, but lots of game time in his first season back in England. 39(1) games played with 5 assists. Liverpool finished 8th in the league and won the FA Cup. Zachary Eldinho - Even at the age of 35 he's still getting over 30 goals, 36 this season in 46(1) games, with 11 assists and 10 PoMs. Chelsea finshed 2nd in the league and were Capital One Cup runners up. English Footballer of the Year and in PLayers' Team of the Year. Gins - Pretty good season for Gins and Blackburn. He played 52 games, conceding 62 and keeping 14 clean sheets. Blackburn finished 4th in the league. Was named Golden Glove runner up. Steven Kemp - A brilliant season for both Steven and Villa. Firstly he played 55(6) games for the club, with 18 assists and 13 PoMs. Villa finished 5th in the league, but to top the season off, Steven captained his side to Europa League glory. Named in Players' Team of the Year. Aboubakari Mensah - A very good season with Southampton, scoring 3 goals and getting 14 assists in 38(2) games. He helped Southampton win the Premier League for the first time ever and they were Champions League runners up. [RETIRING] Chris Small - Not a very good season and has decided to Retire next season. He played just 3(1) games with 2 assists as Villa finished 5th and won the Europa League. Tullem
Crazy to see a 35 y/o RB play 40 games for Liverpool! Probably only surviving into his mid thirties because of the high natural fitness and stamina attributes affording to him at the start. Hopefully El Ticuito can get another season under his belt at least, before moving to management (Hopefully)

Both players have Staff attributes, so could you either pick if you'd like to become a manager or just leave it and see what happens? Well, it mentioned previously that Backerman wants to pursue management, so let's just see what happens. Maybe Bayern will pick him up as backroom staff, maybe he'll end up down the German leagues. podunkboy
Unfortunately not, it only seemed to happen in the English leagues. I've been managing a FM14 save into 2041, and I gave my players a Testimonial when I was at Bayern, so the option's there, they're probably just too cheap to give up the gate receipts. Charlesbeams
End of Season 2033/34 Antoine Clemont - Moved to newly promoted Forest and helped them survive relegation, while his old side surprisingly got relegated. He played 40(2) games for Forest with 9 assists. Christopher Hatton - Hardly got any game time in his last season with Juventus, he played just 2(15) games. Juventus won the league and were Italian Super Cup runners up. Is with the Colombia squad for what will most likely be his last World Cup. Junior - Not looking good for Junior, with only 3 sub appearances all season. His contract is running out though so will either leave the club and retire, or maybe find a new club. Chelsea finished 3rd, won the FA Cup and Champions League. Lawrence Lazewski - Not looking too good for Lawrence, who played 17(11) games for Spurs, scoring just 5 goals. Spurs finished 6th in the league. Is considering leaving to get some first team football and his contract is running out. Bambang Pinheiro - Not getting as much game time anymore, just 20(4) games, scoring 4 goals and getting 3 assists. Man Utd finished 2nd in the League and were poor elsewhere. Relegated Players El Ticuito - Still playing quite a few games for Liverpool, 25(2) in total with 6 assists. Liverpool finished 7th in the league and won the Community Shield. He got 32 this season in 45(5) games for Chelsea, helping them finished 3rd in the league, win the FA Cup and Champions League. Broke Chelsea's fastest goal in 10 seconds against West Ham. Named in Players' Team of the Year and Champions League Dream Team. Gins - Not a great season, conceding 95 goals and keeping 9 clean sheets in 59 games for Blackburn. Blackburn struggled and finished 15th in the league and were also FA Cup runners up. Steven Kemp - Another full season for Steven, playing 51(1) games, scoring twice and getting 11 assists. Villa finished in 5th place, were Euro Super Cup runners up and made it to the Champions League semi-finals. Was named in Players' Team of the Year. Aboubakari Mensah - A fantastic season for Southampton, just not for Mensah. He only got 3(1) games in total all season. Southampton however won the league again and Capital One Cup and were Community Shield and Champions League runners up. Contract is running out and wanted by Hull. Staff Erik Bäckermann - Nothing yet, hopefully something will come up soon. El Mantis - Same again, no managers jobs yet. Relegated Staff Chris Small - No director of football jobs come up just yet. Fully Retired Lewis Walsh Wanted El Ticuito - Cadiz and Huddersfield Aboubakari Mensah - Hull League Tables English Premier League Serie A Not posted staff attributes as they most likely won't change.
