samuelawachie
I'm setting up a super league of sorts using the FM 2014 editor. Now, to prevent teams completely dominating and to help the national teams, there are certain nation / match / squad rules that can be set for the various competitions. I just want to know which is the best to ensure no single team dominates especially the transfer market. For instance choosing between "Maximum number of foreign players in match squad" vs "minimum number of home grown players in match squad".. Etc.... The foreign player rule is weighted to give an edge to Spanish teams that have 720 days to get the citizenship, as opposed to way more than that in other clubs in other countries like England. Whereas the other home grown rule has the - ve effect that smaller clubs don't have so many of those HG players and must be forced to buy to satisfy the league requirements.. So what do I do? Also setting different rules for various league levels removes from the consistency the whole thing is meant to achieve. Any ideas will be helpful.
