Unusually high number of goals scored from rebounds of free kicks

Recommended Posts

Anyone else noticed this in the 3D engine?

It's mainly the number goals scored by the opposing team but I have benefited from it too.

Of course goals are scored in his way but it does seem to happen often in Football Manager Classic.

Whenever the opposition gets a free kick, I groan because I just know that the likelihood of them scoring from a rebound of the keeper.

It isn't exclusively an issue with FMC, as the ME used is consistent across the versions of the game (barring FMH).

What level of highlights do you watch?

Extended I believe. Would the level of highlights make a difference?

Thanks. So is it something that can be fixed in an update?

No more updates are scheduled for FM15 hereafter, but surely it will be fixed for FM16, expected to come out in October/November.

No, the ME is unaffected by the level of highlights.

All I meant was that when you watch shorter highlights modes, you tend to see fewer incidents which directly show goals / chances. If you watch in that way, then you might end up assuming that all free kicks end in this way but plenty do not.
