attjen
6th should be at the least Inter-Toto. I think Italy right now is 3 Champions Cup, 3 UEFA Cup. But we probably won't know until after summer update.

Big Pants
Wow. Lengthy and funny. It's a lethal combination Hiura-Garcia's "career" alone is funnier than anything Patrick Kielty has ever said. Pants is improving. Shame Stuttgart aren't. One place above relegation 2 years running isn't good enough. Any interest from Barcelona yet?

attjen
Mattimosi Janz' ranks the careers (through 10 season) of the 20 players: 1. BvR, SC - Really, was there any doubt? Large gap between BvR and everyone else. 2. Georgio George, SC - Proven himself in France and now in Italy, needs some team success 3. Herman Toothrot, AMR - Just a personal judgement call here. Has been excellent for every team that gives him a shot, but needs more end product. 4. Gilles Lefty, AMC - Another personal preference. He's a proven leader and team player. 5. Lucky Pants, AMR - Needs to get on a better club, but has been very good. 6. Allan Juel Hansen, SC - Generally been very good, but his team struggles. International career puts him above Zamber. 7. Bap Zamber, SC - Underrated. Lorient's best player by a long shot. 8. Maximo Janz, DMC - Only getting better. 9. Shambles, SC - Needs more full seasons to prove himself 10. Jon Walker, DMC - Probably underrated, but has played with poor clubs. If he succeeds with Bayern, will jump up the list. 11. Santos L. Halper, DC - The best of the defensive players. 12. Eltanad Tanis, GK - Get on a premiership team, otherwise you'll stay in the bottom half. 13. Madcap, AMC - Good player, but not first-choice. If he gets in more games he'll shoot up. 14. Yo Buffro, AMC - Here or just slightly up, but needs to be a first-choice. 15. Rikjard Den Rooster, DMC - Hard to say for sure since he plays for Liege, but he's definitely better then the ones below this point. 16. Briane Greene, DC - Needs to show up for 1st Division games. 17. Jesus Jarman, SC - Promising start to career has disappeared at Celtic. 18. Giuseppi Raschi, DC - Failing to play for Reading. I mean... really. 19. UvL, AMC - Hercules and Millwall are not really the top tier of football friend. 20. Pablo Hiura-Garcia, DC - Sadly, he must go here. 5 consecutive season of less than an average rating of 6.5 is not right.

Poor first game against Lucerne, but playing well since and scored against Lazio in a fine win. PSG 1 Montpelier 1 Champions Trophy Lille 1 PSG 2 Halper played well in the opening game of the league season. St Etienne 1 Sedan 1 Hiura-Garcia played alright in his debut for his new club. PSG 0 Marseille 0 Reims 1 PSG 0 PSG 1 Nantes 0 Halper used in rotation for these early league games, and not very impressive on the pitch. Aris 0 Caen 2 Inter-toto Semifinal 2nd leg Juel Hansen assisted one goal and scored the other in a MOM performance for his new club. The striker set up Cassano's header, and then scored his own moments later to lead his club into the next round. Niort 2 St Etienne 0 Hiura-Garcia made 11 tackles in probably one of the best performances of his career, but his club still lost to Niort who played 70 minutes with 10 men. Lyon 2 Caen 2 Lyon couldn't hold on to a 2-goal lead in the last 15 minutes, as Juel Hansen scored on a header in the 78th just 6 minutes before his club scored the equalizer. Caen 1 St Etienne 1 Neither Juel Hansen or Hiura-Garcia could make much impact in this draw. Caen 2 Schalke 04 0 Inter-toto Final 2nd Leg Antonio Cassano very impressive for Caen in setting up a Juel Hansen goal and Govou goal as Caen earn their way into the UEFA Cup. Juel Hansen's 75th minute goal was the difference. --- German First: Brian Greene - Leverkusen Gilles Lefty - Hertha BSC Lucky Pants - VfB Stuttgart [Jon Walker - Bayern Munich] -- Completed move to Bayern Munich. Hertha BSC 2 Ahlen 1 Lefty played well in this season opener as his club struggled to find the winner, but fully deserved the win. Leverkusen 1 Bayern Munich 3 Leverkusen were down to 9 men before half, as Greene and his club were swamped by the Munich attack. Werder Bremen 2 Stuttgart 1 Pants named MOM in this loss as Stuttgart could have won. Dortmund 1 Leverkusen 0 Greene excellent in this loss, making 7 tackles and 6 headers. Frankfurt 2 Hertha 1 Lefty did not play. --- Serie A: BvR - Roma -- 3rd in World Player of the Year Award, and Serie A Player of the Year. Signed new 5-year contract. In the 6 games so far this season BvR has scored 4 goals and was named MOM twice, but his confidence must surely be shot. --- Other: Rikjard Den Rooster - Standard Liege -- Signed new deal with Standard Liege. attjen
Dec 10 to Jan 12 England Premier: Shambles - Chelsea -- A radio-talk show host said that if he were in charge at Chelsea, Shambles would be sent packing. Giuseppi Raschi - Leeds Ulrich von Liechtenstein - Chelsea -- agreed to move to Chelsea for 1.2 million on Dec 15. Praised in the media for his recent fine performances. Game Reports: Leeds 2 Sheff Wed 4 Leeds 1 Arsenal 0 League Cup 4th Round Leeds 0 Chelsea 0 Leeds 4 Stockport 2 League Cup qtr Final Middlesborough 3 Leeds 3 Leeds 3 Brighton 1 Brighton 0 Leeds 1 Leeds 0 Sunderland 0 Leeds 4 Portsmouth 2 FA Cup 3rd Round Leeds 1 Man City 0 It's been ages since Raschi has put in a good game. His new manager may already be looking for a reason to drop the defender to the bench. Even in games where Leeds won easily, the player looked poor. Man Utd 3 Chelsea 1 Leeds 0 Chelsea 0 Everton 1 Chelsea 0 Chelsea 1 Sunderland 0 Chelsea 2 Sheff Wed 3 Aston Villa 1 Chelsea 0 Frickley 1 Chelsea 1 FA Cup 3rd Round A poor stretch for Chelsea as new signing UvL fails to impress in his first three outings (Leeds, Everton and Sunderland). Shambles has two good matches, the home games, and scores both of his club's goals in the loss to Sheff Wed. Chelsea need to turn around their season or they will find themselves in Division 1 next season. --- England First: Ulrich von Liechtenstein - formerly of Millwall [Eltanad Tanis - Crystal Palace] Game Reports: Millwall 5 Huddersfield 2 In UvL's last game for Millwall, the midfielder captained his club but was taken off in the 70th minute after an average game. (The player who replaced him scored two goals and was named MOM.) --- French First: Santos L. Halper - Paris-SG -- Won the 2011 French Most Unpopular Player of the Year Award. Allan Juel Hansen - Caen Pablo Hiura-Garcia - St Etienne [Madcap - Paris-SG] [bap Zamber - Lorient] [Jesus Jarman - Paris-SG] Game Reports: PSG 2 Lens 3 Marseille 0 PSG 3 PSG 1 Reims 0 Lille 0 PSG 1 League Cup 2nd Round Halper playing pretty well as PSG continues to play pretty high quality football. The club sits second to Niort by one point but with a game in hand. Caen 1 Nantes 0 Strasbourg 0 Caen 4 Caen 2 Lyon 0 Auxerre 1 Caen 1 Caen 1 Lyon 2 League Cup 2nd Round A pretty good stretch of games for Juel Hansen and his club. MOM against Lyon and a goal in the cup game. Only 6 goals in all competitions, but is still clearly Caen's best player. Troyes 2 St Etienne 0 St Etienne 1 Niort 3 St Etienne 2 Lens 5 League Cup 2nd Round Hiura-Garcia absent from the squad for all but the cup game, and very poor (along with the rest of his squad) in that one. --- German First: Brian Greene - Leverkusen Lucky Pants - VfB Stuttgart [Gilles Lefty - Hertha BSC] [Jon Walker - Bayern Munich] Game Reports: Werder Bremen 2 Leverkusen 2 Ahlen 2 Leverkusen 0 Leverkusen 1 Frankfurt 1 Leverkusen still at risk of going down. Greene not impressive in his clubs struggles, but not completely awful. Ahlen 1 Stuttgart 0 Frankfurt 0 Stuttgart 0 Stuttgart 2 Koln 3 Kaiserslautern 3 Stuttgart 2 German Cup qtr final Pants very unhappy with his manager. Won MOM in the two losses and scored in the cup game with a header while having 13 runs. Stuttgart is in the relegation zone. --- Serie A: BvR - Roma Georgio George - Napoli Herman Toothrot - Juventus [Maximo Janz - Milan] [Yo Buffro - Juventus] Game Reports: Napoli 0 Roma 0 George was named MOM over BvR in a game where the two captains could not force their way to the win. An even match with George just helping out a bit more in the defensive side. Juventus 2 Genoa 2 Juve gave up a 2-goal lead ot Genoa at home to leave the fans furious. Buffro was named captain and scored in the 55th as Toothrot was not particularly effective. Napoli 1 Juventus 1 Italian Cup qtr final 1st leg Napoli (without George) scored early and then held on for a draw. Atalanta 1 Roma 1 Italian Cup qtr final 1st leg BvR played well as Ronaldinho scored the away goal. Palermo 0 Juventus 3 Toothrot set up 2 of Shevchenko's 3 goals as the two players shredded the Palermo squad on their own. Roma 2 Venezia 1 Samuel set up BvR in the 3rd minute and Roma scored again just moments later and then cruised to victory. Torino 1 Napoli 3 George injured early in this win. Napoli 3 Genoa 1 George back from his knock and leading his team with a MOM game. His headed goal in the 24th gave his club the lead and they cruised to victory after. Salernitana 2 Roma 3 BvR scored the winner in the 81st as keeper Forlan's goalkick somehow worked its way for the striker to score. (The camera man fell asleep on the play, and missed getting the goal on the highlight reel.) Juventus 1 Fiorentina 1 Juventus 2 Napoli 0 Italian Cup qtr final 2nd leg George could not prevent his club losing in the cup as Toothrot was rested after an unimpressive game against Fiorentina. Roma 2 Atalanta Italian Cup qtr final 2nd leg BvR scored in the 2nd and then Roma got an own goal to advance to the semis. The striker has 25 goals in this season so far, as Roma sits just behind Juventus in Serie A. The captain has apparently been upset by his managers criticizing some of his teammates to the press.
