Luxembourg stunk in the quals. Really disappointing run.

Based on the Finland game, there will be a couple of players who move into management. Usually hard to tell who. The earliest anybody moved to management in the Finland game was at 30 I think.

I'll follow everyone until all retire from playing, and/or I get bored with my game.

Pants seems likely to add another relegation to his disastrous list, while nevertheless playing his little heart out and showing signs of a feisty personality to boot icon_biggrin.gif

Any interest from any decent clubs? Or indeed, and club at all?

Gilles Lefty will be back in the mix towards the end of the season then. (Hertha Berlin faced Novalja in the 1st Group Stage of the Champions League. angryfire.gif but otherwise, I've enjoyed seeing Lefty being pretty sharp for his club.)

When Samuel was sent of just before half-time, Roma lost their way and the game went completely Juve's way. Toothrot scored a fantastic solo goal against the 10-man squad, by beating three players (including a fantastic spin move) and driving a left-footed shot into the net. UvL was the hero in the ManU game, pouncing on a rebound for the only goal. The last few poor results have put Chelsea at 18th and tied with Blackburn on points, but well behind in goal difference. Juel Hansen's club impressive. The striker scored against Lens with a sweet volley. Against PSG in the cup Cassano took over to lead his club to the final. Juel Hansen was unstoppable for the first league game against PSG, heading home the winner in the 73rd minute. On high morale, the player demolished the Marsielle defense on a solo run to get an early goal against Marseille although his club couldn't protect the lead, and should have expanded on it. In the cup final Juel Hansen scored his club's first in the 44th with a header from a corner, but it was substitute Biakolo who scored twice in the last 30 minutes to get Caen their first cup victory.

St Etienne 1 Reimes 1

Le Havre 1 St Etienne 1

It is unclear what St Etienne manager Frederic Hantz has done, but Hiura-Garcia has turned in his best season as a professional in France. The defender was positively enormous in a MOM game against Le Havre winning 13 out of 13 attempted tackles, 5 of them at key moments of the game. While not showing the complete consistency needed from a top-class defender, the Maltan must be giving his manager hope for the future.

May 10th to June 1st:

England Premier:

Shambles - Chelsea

Giuseppi Raschi - Leeds

Ulrich von Liechtenstein - Chelsea

Game Reports:

May 20th 2012 - Chelsea 0 Everton 0

Coupled with Blackburn's 1-0 loss to 5th place Newcastle, Chelsea back their way out of the relegation zone with this draw. Chelsea dominated the game for long stretches but with only 2 of their 8 shots on target, a nil-nil result was almost guaranteed. Captain Shambles appeared to already have consigned himself to Division 1 football, letting loose 5 shots that seemed to threaten his manager at the half-way line more than the net. UvL was one of Chelsea's best players on the day, clearly determined not to be back in Division 1.

Fernadao was the hero as Caen cruised to an easy home win.

Caen 0 Montpelier 2

A second place finish for Caen as Niort scored in the 20th minute seconds before Montpelier got their first. Caen outplayed Montpelier for the match, but 2 goals from Maldonado (on Montpelier's only two shots) sealed a runners-up position for Juel Hansen's club.

St Etienne 0 Troyes 2

Hiura-Garcia and the rest of the team fully outplayed.

Hiura-Garcia caps his fine season (by his standars) with another stellar game, the defender made 5 tackles and 8 headers during the scoreless match.

Juventus 1 Atalanta 1

Toothrot did not play in Juve's league ender.

Napoli 4 Palermo 1

Injured striker George watched from the bench as his club ended the season on high note.

Benfica 1 Juventus 4 UEFA Cup Final

Toothrot set up Juve's dream start by crossing the ball in for Shevchenko to head home in the 3rd minute. MOM Aghahowa scored twice to seal the win in the second half.

Valencia 0 Milan 3 Champions Cup Final

Milan dominated the match from the first minutes as Janz found Gerard on his second cross attempt for the opener in the 5th minute. Toni scored 10 minuts later and Raul hit just before the whistle to seal the match. Raul was named MOM just ahead of Janz as the striker and the midfielder overwhelmed the Spanish squad with their intricate passing. The win gives Milan an Italian Cup/European Cup double to give some consolation for finishing behind Roma in Serie A. Over the course of the cup, no players were better than Maximo Janz as the San Marino player scored 4 assisted 9 and was named MOM 4 times in the competition.

Blow me (oo er)

Stuttgart stayed up. Mixed feelings about that, but Pants has indeed been Pants this back end of the season and probably doesn't deserve a move, unless it's to somewhere like Kidderminster Harriers icon_frown.gif. So bad, in fact, that he doesn't even get an average rating icon_wink.gif

Greeney is possibly the worst defender ever, roffle. Following his career with perverse interest.

BVR icon_eek.gif

How do you invent a player like that FFS? What a player! Where is the baron, btw?

And Cheese, Jenners - don't be pressurised icon_cool.gif I barely even have time to read & post, let alone play. How you guys manage to run such a great story/even think about doing it is beyond me. We are not worthy icon14.gif

Now get Messy a decent transfer please. I've sucked up enough icon_wink.gif
