Methos
If I turn down his request for a new contract and he becomes unhappy, which team talk is the preferable one?
Drazkul
Depends if they have 3 or more years I tend to say there is plenty of time left on their current deal and they usually say they are disappointed but understand my point of view. If they have 2 years or less and I know I want to keep them then I will say they will be offered one at the end of the season.

podunkboy
Isn't it funny when a player has a great performance and gets a PoM, his agent immediately comes demanding an improved contract, but if the same player screws up and loses you a game, there's no option to go to the agent and ask him to reduce his contract? I'm playing a save where for three straight games, whichever player had a great game immediately had a ring-up from the agent asking for improved terms. I just click "decline" and move on.
