nickdc
I want to ask the board to improve my youth recruitment. Which I ask for: A, Improve youth facilities B, Increase youth level C, Increase junior coaching budget I also have 'cut back youth recruitment' as an option but no 'improve'. Thanks. dllu
Youth recruitment is obviously important to improve the quality of the players you take in every year, but all the other three are important to make sure those youngsters you decide to keep then develop their potential properly. Unless you have something else you need to ask the board for, ask them for all three.
nickdc
Youth recruitment is obviously important to improve the quality of the players you take in every year, but all the other three are important to make sure those youngsters you decide to keep then develop their potential properly. Unless you have something else you need to ask the board for, ask them for all three. I have good junior coaching, good youth facilities, but average youth recruitment. I want to bring that up to the same level. I can rule out A and C, so is B what increases my recruitment? But then my you level is 3, and doesn't that define what U18 league you go into? dllu
But then my you level is 3, and doesn't that define what U18 league you go into? Yes. None of the three will increase the level of your newgens, but all three will help the development of the newgens you do get: A will improve their training facilities, gym etc. B will get them into a better league and give them stronger opposition in youth matches. C will give them better coaching - I like to think of it not as the U18 coaches you have hired, but the virtual rest of the U18 staff that do not figure in your staff list. nickdc
Ahhhh, I see. Thank you. Next question, given the huge outlay the club have made on upgrading youth and first team facilities at a cost of £25m at the same time as building a new stadium (I'm only Torquay in the Championship!)... What is the cost of improving junior coaching?
bulletsponge01
improving youth recruitment is under the "networking" tab. if it says you can only decrease it that means the board is completely unwilling to improve it at this time. might be because they recently improved it
chocolatecoatedballs
A - will improve how quickly youth current ability will develop in the U18's B - Not sure what this does tbh C - effects the starting current ability of your newgens, when they first come to your club. Recruitment will improve the newgens you get. Scouting range, Staff of other nations, feeder clubs and staff personalities can also have an impact on recruiting newgens.
