podunkboy
There may be a restricted age limit at the start of the year/start of the season? So if they turn 17 after a certain date, they have to wait until the next year? (That's all I can think of, I haven't spent much time playing in the Bundesliga.) That may be the case. They both turned 17 in april, so maybe I can play them next season
dllu
Are they EU citizens? In the Danish league no non-EU players under 18 are allowed. Might be the same in Germany.
Guest
iirc players must be 17 before January 1st of the current season.
MECAP
probably you haven't registered them or they are registered to play for your II(b team) team or they are on youth contracts?
gauravsinghmd
Under German employment laws anyone aged 17 or younger is not allowed to work past eight o'clock at night.

Didn;t Fergie get done for something similar when he brought Darren Fletcher on as substitute for his debut, playing a mid-week game in European competition, in Scotland. Geordieboy52
I remember Schalke had to get written permission for Draxler to play when he was younger and extra written for evening games as German employment rules apparently prevent anyone under 17 from 'working' after a certain time.
