Scouts and Physios Bonuses

Recommended Posts

I think it's a bit silly how scouts and physios can be offered bonuses related to the team's performance because surely that's irrelevant to to them?7

In my opinion scouts should be offered bonuses relevant to their role, such as a bonus if the manager decides to sign one of their recommendations or a bonus if one of their recommendation is sold by the manager for a healthy profit. Physios, on the other hand, could be offered bonuses if a certain percentage of the team stays injury-free for the duration of the season or if they help a certain amount of players recover from injury sooner than expected, for example.

I don't think its irrelevant.

The scouts find the players therefore have an input into the team and therefore performance.

Physios get players on the pitch so are again indirectly helping performance to some extent (Albeit that physios don't actually do that in FM).

Nothing wrong with adding other bonuses IMO either if they are relevant to the role.

Remove them from the negotiations, they hardly ever insist on them.

They may not insist on them, but I've used them in negotiations where they're demanding more than the board will allow, I just set the wage to board maximum and give them a little "avoid relegation" boost.
