Guest
Hi, ive been reading the forum for ages but this is my first post. Ive been playing all the way back to the first cm and have enjoyed fm15 very much. i finished playing my last save on the full fm a couple of months ago were i took north ferriby from the conference north to prem league glory. i then quit ferriby to take the england job and got sacked after only losing 1 game (on penalties to france in the first knock out stage of the Euro championships). Yes im still bitter. i struggled getting back into a new save so a week ago got the idea of starting a game of fmc for the first time. im shocked to how much im enjoying it. love the look and enjoying not having players moaning at me constantly. my only minor gripe is the colours on the players stats. im sure ill get use to it though. anyway, back to why i thought id post. i know ive only just started playing fmc, but im finding it harder than the full fm due to the fact when my team starts a losing streak i find it harder to get out of it. on the full fm id organise a team meeting or have a chat with players to up their morale. does anyone have any tips to turn around a losing streak on fmc thanks in advance
tyro
Friendlies. If you manage to play some in between your fixtures against weak teams. Gives strikers confidence and increases morale. Other than that - analyze what is going wrong and try to change your tactic/formation/roles/instructions. I agree, in a sense, that part is more difficult as you don't have the "SIMS" aspect of full FM. You do get prompted from time to time to hold a team meeting but you cannot influence when that happens.
Guest
cheers tyro. ill give the friendlies a go this season if or when it happens again. i went a bit daft last season and after 10 games thought i might get my first ever perfect season with arbroath. i was so wrong. ended up outside the playoffs. first time ever failing to get out of scottish div2 first time. i should have been sacked. Scamp
Play out of form strikers in reserves to boost confidence through goals. Swap formations about as no penalties for training up new tactics. Combination of these two things normally gets back on track.
Igen_Raslebøsser
It seems tougher that you cannot tutor, which, from what I hear, is pretty significant in the full fat game.
Guest
Ive now hit the start of season 9 but after achieving all i set out to do in scotland, im now planing a move down to england in the conference north. the only thing that's keeping me at Arbroath is getting the unlock for getting my son. Im planning to use it when i start at my new team. so my question is this. will it unlock when i start next season (20th July) or do you have to complete the full 10th season first. Also, can i then save it to use at my new team. i did notice that on my youth intake day last season, i had the button to apply get a son. does that mean i already can get a son or will that send me to a place to purchase the unlockable. I know for sure i haven't got the achievement yet. (I dont want to press it and find out myself, in case it puts my son at arbroath) Sorry for going on a bit and thanks for any info in advance

An example where it will unlock: - You take over as manager for the 2016/2017 season - A player is signed during this season - At least 10 seasons later, you are still at the club and the same player retires at your team - Then, you unlock it. The player has to start his career/the ten years while you are at the club.

Vane
Play out of form strikers in reserves to boost confidence through goals. Swap formations about as no penalties for training up new tactics. Combination of these two things normally gets back on track. Playing out of form first team and spare rotational players in reserve matches occasionally seems essential in this game. In fact it can be quite a chore having to keep making some first team players available for the reserves then remembering to cancel that instruction when they're match fit and you want to play them in the next game. It's particularly annoying when your now match fit star striker coming back from injury plays a reserve game just before the big match you wanted to play him in!! To make sure the player comes back to the First Team when they get match fix, set them to: Available for Reserve Squad Until Match Fit - 90mins. Another thing I do to monitor match fitness of my squad is via the Squad screen, by selecting the down arrow to show 'Fitness.' It allows me to see all their fitness levels at all times, and if the player is hugely important to your team, playing them once they get above 80% match fitness should be okay.
