My Hansa Rostock team was recently relegated back down to the 2.Bundesliga after 1 season in the top flight. We took a few seasons to move from the third division to the second, but then flew through the 2nd division in 1 season and so I didn't really have the time to build a team that could compete at the top flight (or develop my young players - which makes up the majority of my team - to a 1st division level). And now I of course have my best players all wanting to leave due to relegation. It looks like I may end up keeping a good number of them, in which case my need to sign a lot of new players is lessened, but I was interested generally in how people approach this sort of situation.
