Editing downloaded database

Is it possible? I downloaded a free agent database and it's definitely working properly as I can use the database upon starting a new FM game. But is there a way I can use the editor to make further changes on the database? Whenever I load up the editor, it only has default and the 15.0.3 databases listed.

Yes, just open the editor, pick the default or 15.3 DB and then load the "free agent database" editor data file.

to access the file load editor

click on file top left corner

select load editor data(if file is in correct location it will be seen now)

if the file is in old format it will seen using import (I doubt this is the case)

I would ask creator of file first if he/she is ok with you amending the file and if you do and want to publish make sure he/she is happy with you doing that
