JPM1888
Hi guys I'm new here. Sorry if this has already been discussed. If it has, please feel free to send a link rather than discuss over again. I couldn't see anything myself. I have FM2015. I purchased the ingame editor. It isn't like old editors where you could go into the game folders via the directory. It was pretty easy to use older editor versions but this one seems pretty limited. For example, I can't move teams from division to division. I'm wanting to move QPR, Hull & Burnley to the Championship and Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich to the EPL respectively. Can I do this with the FM2015 editor? Thanks in advance... JP
Karnack
Hey, What you are describing is something you would like to do via the database Editor. If you use Steam you will find it under Tools in your Library. The in-game editor is a new addition and it's not intended for what you want to do. nom245
Yes, there are two editors now: pre-game and in-game editor. The pre-game editor is the traditional editor, you can use it to create new competitions and database modifications (and it permits advanced rules now), while the ingame editor is a new feature that permits to modify some things in a saved game (like values of the players, team reputation..) JPM1888
Hey again, Ive had issues with 'the wrong nation being set' for the scittish teams Ive included in the english leagues but not the englush teams in the scottish leagues. Theyre both set up the same way as per a vid I watched explaining what to do. They also match up with what swansea are set up like. Not sure what to do now? dllu
If I understand you correctly, you have put some Scottish clubs into the English league? The important category here is "Nation" which should be set to the nation of the league. "Based Nation" is the nation where the club is located and "Continental Cup Nation" is the nation from which the club can qualify for the CL and EL. So in your case, Nation / Based Nation / CC Nation should be England / Scotland / probably England.
JPM1888
Thanks for the advice. This is how I have it set up right now. It doesnt seem to be making sense. ?
dllu
Hmm - maybe the issue is in continental qualification, then. Are we talking about the top Scottish clubs? If you moved the clubs that qualified for Europe due to their results in the previous season, the game will view that as too many English clubs in the European tournaments. If my guess is correct and this is the problem, you need to go into the CL and EL --> "Registered Teams" and replace the Scottish teams there with other teams that are still in the Scottish league. Either that or keep their "CC Nation" as Scotland, but then they won't be able to qualify for Europe through the English tournaments in the future.
